An Interactive experience built for the America’s cup in Auckland NZ.
The Spark 5G Race Zone is a showcase of the amazing tech that Emirates Team New Zealand use to make the boat go faster, giving visitors the opportunity to feel, create, learn and even smell all things sailing. Team New Zealand boss Grant Dalton labelled it “the Disneyland of sailing”
I collaborated with Perceptual Engineering and NIWA to create an interactive Wind Tunnel experience using real-time data from sensors in the Hauraki Gulf. Visitors were invited to walk through and interact with a real-time wind model visualisation and experience the weather conditions on the racecourse.
